Was it an interview fib or not being prepared?
Today I interviewed a candidate that boasted about planning 3 meetings of over 2000 people in the last 2 years. I was impressed.
When I asked her what cities they were in her response was halted and then she mentioned three cities (red flag that she didn’t know the cities off the top of her head). When I asked her what hotels…the response…I think XYZ hotel…let me check the file. Ok folks, I can name the hotel and city of almost every conference I planned over 30 years ago…
Was she unprepared or did she fabricate her experience? Obviously, I did not send her on to my client for review.
